Band Bucks
Hello fellow band families! Band Bucks is a great way to earn money towards your own students trip with things you buy everyday! This is a fundraiser for each individual student. All funds can go directly towards their upcoming band trips. Also, any family member or friend can join and have earning go directly to your student!
Band Bucks is a fundraiser that works with your everyday life. Gift cards are available for shopping, dining, travel, and even activities like Top Golf. There are two different ways to order.
1) You can order physical gift cards online at www.shopwithscrip.com and pay with either a check, cash, or presto pay. These orders are placed once a month (except Dec when I place 2 orders for your holiday convenience) There is a $1.00 fee deducted from your students earnings for shipping costs. These orders are available for pick up from me within a few days.
2) You can order paperless or printable gift cards. In order to do this you must use prestopay. You can order online right from your computer or mobile device. Most gift cards are available instantly.
**Using Presto Pay is the most hassle free way to order. You sign up using the link on the shopwithscrip sight . Funds come directly from your checking account and you are able to use your gift cards right away in most cases. There is a 15 cent fee for using presto pay.
You’re probably asking yourself how these stores help us raise money. It’s simple—participating retailers agree to sell gift certificates to our organization at a discount. Band families buy the certificates at full face value and redeem them at full face value. The percent raised can range from 1 ½ % up to 25%. As an example: Olive Garden offers a 9% reward. If you buy $100 in Olive Garden gift certificates then $9 would go into the student’s account (remember there with a $1 charge per total order for physical gift cards to help cover the cost of shipping.) The gift certificates make great gifts….especially during the holidays!
How to register
To register with ShopWithScrip, Go to www.shopwithscrip.com. Go to the Register tab at the top of the page. Select the Join a Script Program at the bottom of the page. Enter the enrollment code, which is LE14758B1L891. Follow the simple registration instructions and accept the terms and conditions of using the site. Make sure you enter your Student’s Name so that he/she gets the funds applied to their account. Orders are placed on the 15th of each month, order deadline is 6:00pm. Cards will be available for pick up approximately two -three days after order date.
