Ms. Kaela Bonow is student teaching with the Oswego East Bands during the first semester of the 2020-21 year. She studies Music Education and Flute Performance at Illinois State University.
Ms. Bonow has played flute in ensembles such as wind symphony, orchestra, flute choir, and was drum major for the ISU marching band, the Big Red Marching Machine. In her time at college, she was involved in Tau Beta Sigma and the National Association of Music Education.
While student teaching with Ms. Cooper, she will also be student teaching at Murphy Jr. High under Ms. Julianna Karvelius.
